Born and raised on Lake Travis, founder and captain Joe Mohn has been surrounded by the water since day one. His love for wakesurfing, wakeboarding, and all things board sports began early—and by the time he was 8, he was already carving his first wake with his family cheering him on. That moment sparked a lifelong passion that would eventually grow into what is now Travis Wake Charters.
With years of hands-on experience teaching friends and clients how to wakesurf, wakeboard, and confidently enjoy the lake, Joe built this company around the idea of sharing the lake life—not just renting out a boat.
